THE NUMBER of cars built in the UK topped 1.5 million last year, the highest for six years, amid what's being called "surging" demand at home and abroad. Prices have been revealed for the estate version of the Chevy Cruze – the Cruze SW – starting at £15,375. We had the first news of the estate version of the Chevy Cruze Hatch and saloon back in January with a single photo of the Chevrolet Cruze SW – and not a lot else. Perhaps, as Chevrolet aren’t exactly used to building small estate cars, they hadn’t quite worked out what they were able to offer.
